Oh my goodness. Have you ever wanted a Reese’s milkshake? Well this chocolate peanut butter protein shake is just what you need in your life. It’s smooth, creamy and tastes like a decadent treat all while being naturally sweetened and packed of protein. I LOVE making this chocolate pb protein shake as an easy, dairy-free ice cream bedtime snack moment. To be honest, I make this for breakfast most times because it fills me up SO much;) Chocolate and peanut butter were made for each other so why not make a milkshake that celebrates their relationship?!
Jump to RecipeWhat ingredients do I need to make this shake?
Ah, I just love simple recipes. And smoothies are great like that. This chocolate protein pb shake is made with minimal ingredients and will literally take you less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Check out the ingredient list below:
- Frozen bananas (our smooth and creamy base for this recipe)
- Cocoa powder
- Almond milk (any non-dairy milk will work)
- Chocolate protein powder (vanilla will work too, just add an extra 1/2 T of cocoa powder. I use TumLove)
- Peanut butter (or a mix of peanut butter and PB fit powder)
- Chocolate chips (for topping! I use these dark chocolate, stevia-sweetened chips called BakeBelieve.)
Allergen friendly?
I absolutely love this recipe because it is dairy free, gluten free, vegan (depending on your protein powder), and seriously so dang good. Kids love it and so do adults! Therefore, this recipe needs to be on your “To Make” list. It’s just too good and too easy to skip on this one;)
