Yogurt bowls are a breakfast STAPLE for me because not only are they extremely customizable, they are the perfect way to use up leftover fruit. This EPIC yogurt bowl can be made with or without dairy. I promise that it will be your new and highly versatile, creamy, one-bowl breakfast. It’s full of protein, healthy fats and refreshing fruit. AKA, the best way to start your day;)
Jump to RecipeWhat ingredients can I use for this EPIC yogurt bowl?
As I mentioned, this yogurt bowl can be modified for any dietary needs or personal preferences. It’s especially great if you have extra fruit that you need to use up. It’s seriously my favorite summer breakfast. Check out the list below for the ingredient outline!
Recommended Ingredients:
- Yogurt (Any dairy or non-dairy variation works. I use this one from Silk!)
- Fresh or frozen fruit (ie. strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, kiwi, etc.!)
- Granola (Choose your favorite granola or muesli. A gluten free granola is great here as well! Even rolled oats with a drizzle of honey is amazing for this.)
- Extras: Depending on your yogurt sweetness you may want to add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup to sweeten the yogurt bowl! Other toppings include cocoa nibs, goji berries, almond butter, chia seeds, coconut flakes, chopped nuts, or chocolate chips.
Why should I make this recipe?
While there are many reasons you should make this recipe, the primary should be that it takes less than 5 minutes to put together an epic yogurt bowl. It requires no extra dishes and is so nourishing, filling, creamy, and versatile. Just use up whatever fresh or frozen fruit you have on hand along with your preferred yogurt and you will have the most creamy and dreamy start to your day.
