Besides from it being the most perfect desserts, it’s probably the easiest dessert I’ve ever made. It’s legitimately so easy and quick to throw together that it feels like cheating. Check out the ingredient list below!
Ingredients:
- Brownie mix (you can use any type, even gluten free!)
- Rolled oats (can use gluten-free certified oats!)
- Cherry pie filling (store-bought, straight from the can!)
- Butter (you can use a dairy free/vegan option!)
- Chocolate chips (use any variation you like best!)
- Optional but not really: Serve with vanilla ice cream!
As you can tell, this recipe can be made gluten AND dairy free with just a few substitutes!
Why chocolate cherry crumble?
Why not? But in all seriousness, this dessert hits all the right notes. The deep, decadent flavor of chocolate pairs beautifully with the bright, fruity taste of cherries. Add a crisp, buttery crumble topping into the mix, and you’ve got yourself a dessert that’s both comforting and sophisticated. It’s perfect for hosting or for a night in! It also makes the best Valentine’s day dessert!
