Everyone could use some more chocolate in their lives, and everyone could use more protein in their diet. Why not pair chocolate with protein to get the best of both worlds?! I love these protein brownie bites because they satisfy my sweet tooth and my tummy. These protein bites are smooth, chocolatey, and so satisfying. A must-make no-bake snack! I meal prep these nearly every week for an after-meal sweet tooth or pre-workout snack!

These brownie protein bites truly taste like mouthfuls of brownie cookie dough. The best part? They only are eight ingredients and take 10 minutes to make.
- oat flour (could probably sub with almond flour!)
- peanut butter (can totally sub any other nut or seed butter!)
- vanilla or chocolate protein powder (for vanilla, add 2 TBSP of cocoa powder to vanilla protein powder)
- maple syrup
- vanilla extract
- almond milk
- chocolate chips
I love how these ingredients are pantry staples. And since this is a no-bake recipe, it makes this snack the perfect for meal prep. I make a batch of these (or some version) nearly every week! My entire family enjoys them. I often eat these before or after workouts or in between meals when I need something to tide me over. The only problem? They are mildly addictive;)
Protein Powder Notes:
A quick note on the protein powder… Sometimes protein powder makes energy balls dry and crumbly. So make sure you compensate by adjusting either the almond milk or peanut butter as needed so your balls form without crumbling. The texture completely depends on your protein powder. To get a moist and smooth dough, use a protein powder that you have had a good experience when baking with.
I love this brand, TumLove. They are low fodmap, and their powder tastes amazing in energy balls and bars like this. If you need more recommendations for protein-packed snacks, check out my peanut butter protein bars or my oatmeal chocolate chip bars!
Diet Friendly?
Yes, yes, yes! These brownie bites are super diet and allergen friendly. These bites are low-fodmap (depending on protein powder), vegan, gluten-free friendly (if using GF oat flour), and paleo friendly! If you need a nut-free version, use sunflower butter instead of peanut butter!
