Jump to RecipeWhy should I make this oatmeal cookie protein smoothie?
Well, if you’re like me, you have a tendency to make the same recipes over and over until you are absolutely sick of it. I am trying to break free from that habit and switch up my favorite meals by swapping their flavor profile. For example, I make lots of smoothies for breakfast because they are easy and delicious, but instead of making the same one repeatedly, I will simply just switch up the flavors. I still get to enjoy my smoothie but I won’t get sick of it because I change up the flavor.
Is this protein smoothie healthy?
Well, I am so glad you asked, because the answer is yes! This smoothie is naturally sweetened with a banana and protein powder, so there is no refined sugar. The whole grain, balanced carbs from the oats and the healthy fats from the almond butter make this protein smoothie a healthy, balanced recipe!
This recipe is also naturally vegan, dairy free, and can be made gluten free as well;)
