This smoothie is so creamy even though it’s dairy free and vegan. Made with only 5 ingredients, this is the perfect way to add some delicious summer vibes into your day.

The two main ingredients are in its name. Strawberries and bananas. This recipe is so simple, so this blog post will be too. See the ingredients list below.
- Frozen strawberries (or fresh, see notes)
- Banana (fresh or frozen)
- Vanilla protein powder (I use TumLove)
- Almond butter (optional! or you can use any nut butter!)
- Almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
This ingredient list is just so dang simple. Most people have these ingredients already, and if not, they are super accessible ingredients. I encourage you to give this recipe a try! It’s easy and refreshing and totally customizable! I normally eat this as a post or pre workout snack, a. part of my breakfast, or an afternoon snack! It’s also super easy to double or triple this recipe to make for family or friends.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 1½ cup frozen strawberries see notes for fresh strawberries*
- 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- ½ tbsp almond butter or any nut butter (also optional)
- 1-1½ cup almond milk or any milk of choice*
Instructions
- Start by blending all the ingredients together in a high-powered mixer. Add the banana first, then the strawberries, protein powder, almond butter, and lastly, the milk! Blend on high until it's creamy. Make sure it's super smooth and feel free to adjust the consistency as desired!
- Top with extra almond butter or any other topping of choice. Enjoy immediately!
