Ingredients

  • 6 bags Country Peach Tea I use the Celestial Seasonings version
  • 2 quarts hot water not quite boiling
  • ¼ cup raw honey use less if desired
  • ¼ cup lemon juice use slightly less if you are using fresh squeezed lemon juice!
  • 1 fresh peach (sliced for serving) totally optional!

Instructions

  • Heat up the water using a tea kettle or stovetop. Don't let it boil, but let it get near that point.
  • Next, add the tea bags into a large pitcher. Pour the hot water over the tea bags. Then add the honey and lemon juice and stir to combine.
  • Finally, set the pitcher into the refrigerator for about 60 minutes (or on the counter for 2 hours) until it's lukewarm or slightly chilled. Pour over ice and serve with fresh peach slices if desired!

Notes

*The tea can be kept refrigerated or at room temperature for up to 3 days. Just make sure to keep it covered due to the sweetness from the honey.
