2scoopschocolate protein powder*see notes below for whey protein
2tbspdrippy peanut butter
2tbspmaple syrup
1cupold-fashioned oatsgf work great!
1cupalmond milkany milk works!
½tspbaking soda
½cupdark chocolate chipsI use a stevia-sweetened brand (also optional)
1 pinch of saltoptional!
½tspvanilla extractoptional!
Instructions
FIrst, preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Right to the pan, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
One the bananas are mashed add the remaining ingredients and mix until fully combined and smooth. Top with the chocolate chips and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the oatmeal bake cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Top with an extra drizzle of peanut butter and serve with some yogurt for an extra boost!
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week!
Notes
*If you are using whey protein powder, the consistency might be a little thicker. Before baking the "batter" should be comparable to a thick (and chucky) pancake batter. If it doesn't smooth out, add a splash more milk.
